Contracts Specialist 

 Located in the North Thompson valley, at Simpcw Resources Group we provide environmental, management, and operational services while preserving Simpcw culture and heritage with respect towards the environment. Our goals include creating economic growth from the commercial development of natural resources within the Simpcw'ulécw (Simpcw Territory) by being the major contractor and competing for work in both the public and private sectors. 

Current Opportunities

Simpcw Resources LLP is growing rapidly and looking for a dependable and enthusiastic Contracts Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the PMO Management Team, the Contracts Specialist will provide contract coordination, setup, and administration for all contractual commitments with clients and subcontractors. 

 Qualifications 

• Strong preference given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related discipline. 
• Two (2) years experience writing and coordinating RFQ and RFP processes in the oil and gas industry. 
• Proven experience meeting RFQ/RFP deadlines in fast paced, demanding environments. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Experience with Heavybid, or other estimating software considered an asset. 
• Demonstrated proficiency in contract management, assessment, and negotiation. 
• Knowledge of the Simpcw First Nations community is value.
