About the Program

Empowering Education in Our Community

Simpcw Resources Group is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to eligible members of Simpcw First Nation. Our scholarships are designed to support students pursuing academic or trade programs, and we warmly encourage anyone who meets the criteria to apply.

Each scholarship has its own eligibility requirements — review the criteria below carefully before applying. You are welcome to apply for any or all four scholarships. Although preference will be given to applicants in each scholarship’s targeted field, SRG is committed to supporting Simpcw members across a wide range of disciplines.

All recipients will be notified in a timely manner, allowing sufficient time to arrange bursaries before courses begin.

Joint Venture Annual Scholarship

Eligibility

SFN Member pursuing post-secondary education, demonstrated academic achievement, involvement in community service and leadership activities.

Golf Tournament Joint Venture Scholarship

Eligibility

SFN Member pursuing post-secondary education, proof of enrollment in post-secondary, demonstrated financial need, involvement in community service and leadership activities.

Cody Felix Scholarship

Eligibility

SFN Member pursuing a Trades Training Course or Certificate, involvement in community service and/or leadership activities.

Sheldon Eustache Scholarship

Eligibility

SFN Member pursuing training in Forestry Related Education, involvement in community service and leadership activities.

Before You Apply

What You’ll Need

Have the following ready before starting your application. All information is kept confidential and used only for evaluating your submission.

  • Proof of Simpcw First Nation membership (copy of Status Card)
  • Proof of enrollment — post-secondary institution, trades training program, or forestry-related education
  • Confirmation of full-time or part-time student status
  • A short description of your involvement in community service and/or leadership activities (250 words or less)
