Simpcw Resources Group offers a $1000 Indigenous Youth Post-Secondary Scholarship for indigenous students between 15-30 years old from the North Thompson Valley (Loius Creek, Barriére, Clearwater, Blue River and Valemount) attending a post-secondary institution. This year we have 5 scholarships available to be awarded to applicants.
In 2017, 3 students; Ayame Shipmaker, Jeremy Sterling and Melpatkwa Matthew, were awarded the $1000 Simpcw Resources Group Indigenous Youth Post-Secondary Scholarship.
Estsék’ Environmental Services offers one $500 bursaries that is open to students who aspire to work in the scientific or environmental field as professionals and are in their last academic year at Barriére Secondary School or Clearwater Secondary Schools.
There are two $500 bursaries awarded to two students who are enrolled in a post-secondary science program for the upcoming academic year.
