Meet Hannah Sachs, Forestry Supervisor, SRLLP Forestry Division

My name is Hannah, and I am new to the forestry department at SRG.  My family is from Kamloops, but I was raised in Nelson, BC.  There I spent my summers hiking in the mountains and swimming in the lakes and rivers and my winters downhill and cross-country skiing.  I moved to Vancouver in 2016 to begin my bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Management at UBC and during my summers, I worked in and explored the Bulkley Valley in northern BC.  I learned that my favorite aspect of forestry is reforestation and silviculture because I love planning and growing a forest for the future.  Upon completing my degree, I moved to Kamloops to work in the forest industry and quickly fell in love with the beautiful North Thompson Valley.  I am now excited to have landed at SRG!
